Elite European Working Dogs

Genetically sound working dogs, honestly matched.

īweriū Working K9 imports, assesses and trains elite European working dogs — KNPV Malinois, working line German Shepherds, Czech line shepherds and Dutch Shepherds — for families, professionals and security operators across the UK and Ireland.

European Bloodlines

Fifty years of documented performance

We work with a closed circle of breeders in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia — programmes whose dogs are tested publicly in KNPV, IGP and operational service rather than described as working line in an advert.

Why Choose Us

Handlers first, dealers never

We publish pedigrees, show unedited footage, decline unsuitable placements and stay accountable for the life of the dog. That is the whole proposition.

Frequently asked questions

What makes īweriū Working K9 different?

We are handlers first. Every dog is imported from a vetted European working programme, tested against a documented temperament standard, and matched honestly to a home — including telling clients when a dog is wrong for them.

Do you sell dogs to families?

Yes. Many of our placements are family protection dogs and stable working companions. Temperament is matched to household experience and daily commitment.

How much does a trained protection dog cost?

UK prices typically range from £12,000 for a trained family protection dog to £45,000 for a proven personal protection dog. Working puppies start around £2,500.

Where are you based and do you travel?

We operate across the United Kingdom and Ireland, delivering training at our facility and at client premises, with dogs delivered personally wherever possible.

Do you provide training after purchase?

Always. Every placement includes a handover programme, a written development plan, follow-up sessions in the first year and lifetime access to our team.

Can I visit before committing to a dog?

Yes, and we encourage it. Viewing dogs in unfamiliar environments and watching training in person is the best way to understand what you are buying.
