Security Dog Training

Commercial security work has different demands from private protection: long shifts, unfamiliar sites, public interaction, documentation and audit. We train dogs and handlers to that standard.

General purpose patrol

GP dogs are trained in site patrol, building and area search, challenge and detain, transport and vehicle work, all with high public neutrality. Endurance and environmental hardiness matter as much as bite work.

  • Building, yard and open area search
  • Challenge, engage and out under command
  • Public neutrality during patrol and shift changeover
  • Vehicle discipline and kennel-to-deployment routine
  • Night operations and low-visibility working

Handler competence and licensing

We prepare handlers for recognised assessment, covering deployment protocol, use of force proportionality, incident reporting, animal welfare law and record keeping required by clients and auditors.

Welfare and documentation

Commercial deployment requires evidence. We supply training logs, assessment records, welfare protocols and continuation training schedules suitable for client audit and insurer review.

Continuation training

Standards slip without scheduled maintenance. We run monthly continuation days for teams, with independent reassessment annually.

Frequently asked questions

Do you supply dogs to security companies?

Yes. We source, train and supply general purpose and detection dogs to commercial operators, with documentation suitable for audit.

Do you train handlers as well as dogs?

Always. A trained dog with an untrained handler is an incident waiting to happen.
